Parliament the Boutique is a unique shopping destination in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. We carry a carefully curated selection of fine gifts, personal accessories and home goods. Parliament is home to a team of talented and diverse local makers who are joyfully invested in each other’s mutual success. The shop originally started as the storefront and studio home to Elyse Welcher's Littlewings Designs line in April 2013. The Parliament dream began to quickly grow and evolve to include the work of Harbinger Leather Design and Adventure Textiles as well as other curated artists. In 2014, these three primary makers realized their collaborations and collective work were outgrowing their current individual studio spaces, and the result was Parliament the Studio. Parliament the Boutique is now a retail space and showroom for the three founding makers, and Parliament the Studio is their production space combining their diverse talents and machinery under one roof.

Dime & Regal is a simple and elegant shop that stocks local artists work including jewelry, scarves, bags, accessories, and fine art. These items are based on simplicity in both making and using, as well as keeping costs affordable for everyone. We offer one gallery wall for artists to show their work. Our exhibit for Artprize will focus on how line work and pattern are found within nature; a theme found in many historical cultures and mediums. Throughout history, textile, pattern, and design have often been used in the creation of functional objects; a practice still used today in the work of many local artists and makers.
