Venue description
Art and architecture have a long tradition at downtown Grand Rapids’ Fountain Street Church. Italian Romanesque in style, FSC serves as a model location for students engaged in the pursuit of art and architecture, and for ArtPrize artists seeking a dramatic exhibition space. The building’s majestic edifice reflects an interior rich in color, wood carvings, stone work, intricate mosaics, stained-glass windows, and Mercer-tiled floors. The FSC venue is situated among popular GR locations including the city’s Children’s Museum, Civic Theater, the public library, and Grand Rapids Community College.
