Caroline Older is the Executive Director of the Arts Council of Greater Grand Rapids. She, the staff at the Arts Council, and a selection committee choose which artists to show. Approxiamately 6-8 artists are selected based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to: size, style, and the artist's statement.

Description of exhibition space
The Arts Council of Greater Grand Rapids curates the lobby space of 38 West Fulton, which is the area in between San Chez restaurant and bistro. It is a high traffic space, visitors walk through the lobby to get to any of the building's occupants. There are high ceilings, natural light, and plenty of wall space. Space is also available for sculpture installations.

Venue description
38 West Fulton, owned by Lee Shore Properties, is located in the heart of Downtown Grand Rapids' entertainment district. Nestled between San Chez restaurant and cafe, this space is walking distance from all of Downtown's hot spots. The high ceilings and neutral walls make for an flexible space to showcase 2D or small 3D pieces.
