The B.O.B.
Exhibition director
Barb Hanley
Exhibition statement
The B.O.B. will be placing an emphasis on selecting artists who focus on artists using non traditional mediums, or at the very least, artists concentrating on a fusion of various mediums. Two Dimensional Multimedia, Three Dimensional, Performance Art, Experimental, Avant Garde, and the like will be our focus. Of course, The B.O.B. is open to submissions in all forms - simply know that we will be focusing on those artists who push boundaries both in execution and on a conceptual level.

Venue description
The B.O.B. (an acronym for Big Old Building) is located in downtown Grand Rapids. The 70,000-square-foot, four- story, red brick building was constructed in 1903 as Judson's grocery warehouse. It stood vacant for decades before The Gilmore Collection began its transformation, saving it from demolition.
Its casual appeal, large size and historic charm have given The B.O.B. landmark / destination status in downtown Grand Rapids. Ambitious, expansive, and versatile, The B.O.B. offers a uniquely personal experience for every guest who walks through the door.
