Grand Rapids Art Museum will offer over 11,000 square feet of indoor exhibition space located on the first and second floors of the Art Museum for ArtPrize artists. In addition, outdoor spaces are available on the various Art Museum terraces and plazas.

Venue description
The mission of the Grand Rapids Art Museum is:

• to inspire all to discover, enjoy, and learn about art,
• to serve as a welcoming and inclusive cultural resource,
• to collect, conserve and interpret authentic works of art of the finest quality.

The Art Museum’s commitment to current and future generations includes opening its doors as the first newly-constructed, LEED Gold certified art museum in the world. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings.
