Venue description
Canal Street Park lies on the East bank of the Grand River, just North of downtown. This long park features concrete paths dotted with several round landings, some of which are in the middle of a grassy lawn, while others border the river. There are restrooms and a parking lot on site. Some electrical is available and lampposts provide some illumination after dark. Across Monroe Street to the East are several refurbished historical buildings hosting lofts, restaurants, and art galleries.

Bridge Street Park
Beautiful park with riverfront walkways, constructed on reclaimed industrial and railroad lands. Located in the Monroe North Area, a district slowly transitioning from industrial to mixed-use urban development. Fourth Street Dam & historic Sixth Street Bridge are area attractions.
