Venue statement The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel is delighted to partner with Ox-Bow to have them help select artists for our hotel space. Ox-Bow is a 100-year old school of art and artists' residency for experienced and aspiring artists. Each year over 500 artists from around the Country make their way to their 115-acre campus along the shores of Lake Michigan to delve into the artistic process. At Ox-Bow, artists can enjoy extreme focus, a committed community of peers, innovative and rigorous instruction, and an unparalleled natural environment. Throughout its 100-year history Ox-Bow has welcomed and nurtured some of the Country's most prominent artists as students, artists in residence, and faculty, including: Ellen Lanyon, Phil Hanson, Richard Hunt, Joan Mitchell, LeRoy Neiman, Lim Lutes, Ed Paschke, Laylah Ali, and Claes Oldenburg.
