Description of exhibition space
This is the paved pedestrian mall between Fountain and Lyon streets in the center of GRCC's downtown campus. Ground is slab on grade and is designated as a fire lane - as such can support a significant amount of weight. Any art displayed in the corridor on the North end of the space must be moveable (the area is a fire lane). Immoveable work may be located in the large, circular space at the South end of the commons. All entries for exterior display are subject to approval by the City of Grand Rapids Historic Preservation Department.
