Connection process

Are you an approved venue? Download these!

1. Find a "match"

Registered artists and registered venues can browse each other on the website. If there is interest in a particular venue or artist, then click the Connect button. (You will not see this button if you are not registered.)

If somebody is requesting a connection with you, check Manage Connections. (You will only see Manage Connections if you are registered.)

2. The Hosting Agreement - It's "offline"

When you find artists you like, email them your customized Hosting Agreement (What's this?)

  1. Download the template
  2. Customize it for your venue
  3. Email it to an artist

3. Secure the artist - Back online

When both you and the artist have signed the Hosting Agreement (or typed your names in the signature), go to your Connections page and click "Secure artist" (available May 31, 2011). This let's ArtPrize know you and the artist reached an agreement. The artist receives an email to also confirm you as his/her venue. When that artist secures your venue in return, you're done.

Note: It is legal for you and the artist to type your name in the signature blank, so the agreement can be completed entirely through email without printing, signing and faxing.
