Welcome! We are thrilled to be an ArtPrize venue for the first time! ArtPrize is the largest art competition in the world, and we are proud that it is right in our backyard here in Grand Rapids. Our venue sees 7-8,000 visitors a day just in passenger traffic, and we hope to see familiar faces stopping, but also the daily flow of people in and out of GRR who may be here on business or visiting loved ones. Our venue is hosting seven artists who are from as close as Ada, to as far away as Mexico and New Zealand! Art is located in three locations: outdoors under our "Welcome Wall" canopy, in the east end of our terminal building near the Valet Parking ticket counter, and upstairs in our Observation Area. This is also a great spot for aviation enthusiasts since you can view art, look down on our security checkpoint, and get a view of our airfield operations. Stop by and see us, and don't forget to vote for your favorite artists!!

Eric Millikin, Firth MacMillan, Barbara Lash, Denise Ardis, John Whipple, Lynn Whipple, Ed Brownlee, Jonathan D. Lopez, Howard Sheltraw and Sierra Cole were all chosen to show at a new venue located in city center during ArtPrize 9. The ten artists will be showing in small Post Office Boxes that make up this official venue located inside the United States Postal Service - Ledyard Station, 120 Monroe Center NW.  PO (Art)Box is specializing in small artwork since scale is often a majority factor in ArtPrize entries. Curator Sierra Cole says, "We all know that ArtPrize is about having a conversation about art, we just feel that most of the time that conversation revolves around large scale works of art. We want to flip that conversation and talk about how small works of art are just as viable as large scale works. They are just as challenging, time consuming, and complex as their large counterparts." PO (Art)Box will be viewable during business hours inside the Post Office lobby. After hours, the artwork can be viewed from a custom made outdoor mailbox bank that will be located just outside the Ledyard Post Office.

Craft Beer Cellar

Craft beer isn’t a section of the store for us . . . it’s what we are all about! We are a craft beer bottle shop with over 500 beers and a taproom with 20 drafts. We welcome our guests to build their own six packs, have a taste of something new on tap or a bit of both. We don't have our own kitchen, just a few snacks and bar bites. But if you're hungry for more, we have a collection of menus to choose from the Downtown Market. We are not snobs, we are beer geeks! We are students of our trade and take great pride in learning everything we can about beer; how it's made, what the ingredients are, what we should drink it from, what food a beer pairs well or can be made with. We are good beer, good people, and good times!
