Venue description: Meijer Public Broadcast Center is located on the Pew Campus of Grand Valley State University in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. The Meijer Public Broadcast Center's Front Avenue Plaza walkways and lawn spaces adjoining the West Main Entrance on Front Avenue will serve as exhibition space for outdoor works by ArtPrize artists. Video installations will be projected through windows on the Front Avenue Plaza and the River Walk sides of the facility.
Venue statement: Grand Valley State University has a long tradition of supporting the arts. The University Permanent Collection numbers over 9,000 works of art, collected in support of its educational mission. The majority of these works are displayed throughout university facilities to promote diversity and cultural understanding and enrich the lives of students, faculty, staff and the community.

The collection features works in a wide range of media by faculty, students, alumni, many of Michigan's finest artists, and renowned national and international artists.

The Gordon Gallery located at DeVos Center houses an important collection of paintings created by Mathias J. Alten (1871 – 1938), one of Michigan's most significant painters.

Parking for GVSU visitors is available is available in the Front Lot located on Front Avenue just south of Fulton Street.

Floor plan notes: Underground sprinkling system will be turned off during ArtPrize. Artist(s) must avoid damaging underground water pipes which will be marked prior to ArtPrize installation. Standard outdoor lighting is available. Electrical outlets are located on the building side of the walkways/lawns so any additional lighting supplied by artists must remain on that side. Electrical cords may not extend over the walkways.
