2013 ArtPrize Venue Exhibition Center
The Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA) is located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. UICA’s ArtPrize exhibition will feature site-specific installations and large-scale suspended works, with several locations two-story in scale offering multiple perspectives for viewers. UICA’s 120’x 30’ outdoor terrace will also serve as an exhibition space for 3D and site-specific projects.
For over 36 years, UICA has remained a regionally focused institution bringing world-class contemporary culture to West Michigan. By exposing the public to national and international art, we fulfill our organizational mission to inspire dialogue and cultural awareness within our community and beyond.
