Trudy Ngo-Brown is the Director of Creative Programs at the West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology (WMCAT) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. WMCAT’s nationally recognized Teen Arts + Tech Program engages high school students from Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) in tuition-free, out-of-school-time experiences in the visual arts and technology. Trudy leads a team of teaching artists and youth development professionals to create dynamic, student-centered learning spaces for teens to build their creative confidence and elevate their voice within the community. Trudy has been with WMCAT since 2015 and has nearly 20 years of combined experiences in education as a classroom teacher (K-adult settings), teacher educator, and education consultant.
