I am an abstract artist living in Butler, Pennsylvania. Working with chalk pastes has become my passion. My work recalls the cubist style of Picasso and Braque. I have created and mastered my own technique of blending the chalk pastels into the wood to create a "stained glass" look that has become my signature style that is recognizable at first glance. In 2013, my submission, SACRIFICE, a large mural depicting the last supper, made it into the top 50 and was purchased and is on display at St. Robert's Parish in Ada, MI. Then in 2014, I Hear the Train a Comin, my rendition of The Pere Marquette 1225, was in the top 20. It is currently on display at Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City, MI. A special IPA beer wasbrewed and the image of the train will be bottled and distributed throughout Michigan this fall. I have been commissioned for artwork throughout the United States, Europe and Hawaii, along with many works that can be seen in Michigan.
