ArtPrize Entry 2012: In 2012 I continue my exploration of transforming discarded items into 3 dimensional mixed media assemblage. I will be expanding the viewers ideas of what we consider disposable by re-creating hunters trophies. I will produce the “taxidermy” animals using my process of repurposed materials extracted from our surroundings. The entire entry will be created site specific. It will engage the viewer through the unorthodox use of material that is common from daily life while questioning the idea of animals as “trophy”.

Venue & Connection Information

This years installation will be site specific. May use existing indoor room and create a free standing structure in an outdoor space. Easy access is needed. Will need electrical.
