High Dynamic Range Photography
My recent works focuses on as method of viewing images closer to what the human eye can see. Most people don't know that when a digital camera "records" an image, it only has five to seven stops of light - from the darkest shadows to the brightest highlights. By exposing three or more images - one for the highlights, one more "midtones", and one for shadows, and putting them all together on the computer, it looks like one image with a wider tonal range than a single exposure photograph.
