This series is a study of sign language and a few select words and the signing that accompanies them. The words I chose are Soul, Fire, Freedom, and Light. Pictured are artist proofs as these pieces are still unfinished. Currently these are just etchings without the aquatint plate added. When done, I hope to have each piece of paper mounted onto its own light fixture in order to bring out the ghost-like quality of some of the lines.
