Since living in the South during the hurricane season of 2005 until present, I have become interested in how hurricanes have affected the social and economical climate of this area. Through my art, I want to show how property and residents have had little help in reclaiming what has been lost. A major impact has been towns whose population has declined or completely disappeared because of the exodus of residents who have no other choice. The piece that is shown above is the first in a series and is not the peice i will be submitting.
