This Art Prize entry is titled “Meadow Winds” and is comprised of dragonflies and lady bugs. The dragon flies are made up of brass musical instruments and the ladybugs are made from brass door knobs. The pieces try to stay true to the original object using mostly musical instrument pieces to form the dragonflies and the lady bugs are formed from door knobs with keys for legs. The total art piece will consist of the individual elements of two dragonflies and several ladybugs that are hung on a wall in an arrangement fitted for the venue space. About a 6 feet x 4 feet minimum wall area is required.
