Earth Undone

2012 ArtPrize Entry
Add to Collection

Earth Undone is symbolic of past, present, and possible future events. It is a collage of the world at its worst, including the deforestation of the amazon, nuclear disasters, the japan and haiti quakes, the BP spill, Caldera explosions, 9/11, the economy crisis, animal extinction, war zones, the fight over religion, and of course, the long list of problems in Africa. The style expresses the feeling of the Earth at its end, torn and tattered by the years of our global footprint.
