Schuler Books Downtown is located right in the heart of Center City. We are easily accessible to all shuttles, hubs, and hotels as well as Rapid Bus Transit stations. We are looking for works of art with a literary twist! Our stores also have a perfomance stage available for sculpture, as well as plenty of wall space within.

Schuler Books Downtown is a local, independent, urban bookstore right in the heart of Center City. The fireplace and cozy reading nooks throughout the store provide a much needed respite for the Grand Rapids literary crowd and is a great way to end the workday with a beer or glass of wine at our Chapbook Cafe. The full-service gourmet cafe (Chapbook Cafe) serves a variety of home made soups, sandwiches and local, seasonal fare as well as a coffee bar and local beer and wine selection.
