United We Stand
2012 ArtPrize EntryThe flag pole is a 20' tall Fraser Fir tree, with most all the roots attached. Proudly flying a 5'x 7' American Flag. The base is 8' in dia. x 1" thick plate steel. It will be setting on three steel blocks. North America and South America will be painted on the steel. The fence will also be made of Fraser Fir logs, attached by steel. UNITED WE STAND will be lettered by the opening of the fence, wich represents the door to freedom. Our ancesters came from around the globe to be free. The roots represent thier journey from near and far.
