Triple Bubble
The bubble is a shape-shifter as it drifts on the air, and its surface reflects its surroundings in ever-changing, multicolored ways. To paint a bubble is like grasping a cloud, or caressing a spirit. In this case, my subject was bubbles-within-bubbles. Three of them (soap bubbles sometimes do that!). And what can one say of such a subject? Like a poem, my painting is "mute as a globed fruit."
