The art of hand-carved stone sculpture is disappearing with the advancement of technology! The purpose and goal of my entry is to demonstrate and educate this art from the bare rock thru the various stages of development to completion! My display will include several sculptures on stands. Each stand will have a separate sculpture starting with a bare rock thru to my most magnificent work ever on the final stand! This final sculpture will be a Mohican Warrior of intense emotion and grand decoration from waist up. THIS sculpture is actually our entry with all the other unfinished sculptures as supporting documentation. So the display will be approx 20' long - HOWEVER the final sculpture will be approx 4' high and about 900 pounds. We will have progress photos on a large story board plus rolling video of creation. Please call 605 873 2593 for further explanation. Here is a video of pictured sculpture. https://www.dropbox.com/s/uxsc24tq2z3edqa/2013-03-15%2016.56.36.mov
