The installation is inspired by “Herd of Women” (see reference photo from a show at the Pomona (Ca) dA Foundation for The Arts in 2008). and will be on the lawn of the YMCA (Photo also included)…..it will look like a large group of kids running through the grass in front of the building, some in full sprint, others jumping, doing somersaults, etc – Each individual runner will be made out of wood and “planted” in the grass with a long spike…… when done they can be pulled out of the ground with no leftover clean-up….. It's called “Kids at Play” and meant to inspire the exuberance and freedom of youth and health
