

Philip Rice is a composer and poet residing on Mackinac Island, MI. He holds advanced degrees from Michigan State University and Westminster College of the Arts in Princeton. His research and artwork explores the nature of spaces and places as resonant bodies, with emphasis on local memory as an identifying element in aesthetic experience. He currently serves as the Program Director for the Mackinac Arts Council.
