Peaches B&B, a fabulous Georgian mansion nearly 100 years old, will open its doors & gardens to the public for another spectacular ArtPrize show. Peaches is a "major venue", hosting 24 artists in a relaxed atmosphere, showcasing both indoor & outdoor art, in a setting where one can envision it in one's own home. Peaches is the only ArtPrize venue hosting live demonstrations by our artists on both days of the first 2 weekends. Come, linger, enjoy. We have free parking, great art, & free goodies.

Artist & Connection Information

Peaches B&B is a Georgian mansion where part of the draw is the house itself. We host 20+ artists, making us a "major venue". Art is displayed as it would be in a private home, therefore visitors can envision it in their collection. Also, because there is free parking & a relaxed atmosphere, visitors linger instead of being herded past art like cattle. This encourages purchases of art. We estimate 80% of our artists either sell their piece, sell another piece or get a commission. Artists report selling art the year after someone saw it the previous year at ArtPrize. Artists should be prepared to demonstrate or give talks on both days of each of the first 2 weekends. Artists or their surrogates will also be expected to work several docent shifts during AP. Artists will also be expected to contribute a small dollar amount (historically $50) to a common fund for food, supplies & printing a group promotional flyer. Mostly, we want our artists to have fun!
