The Penguin Project incorporates 48 life size Penguins with their young in an aquatic environment. Inspired by the March of the Penguins the pod cooperates for survival.

Venue & Connection Information

The Penguins are made in high fire clay. They are intended for outside but can certainly go inside. The penguins will be mounted on cement discs 1' in diameter. The discs will have rods that run through them and inside the penguins. The installation is modular and will have an infinite variety of configurations. The wings of the penguins are freestanding and are sturdy however consideration must be given to protecting them from more than just touching. I would consider landscaping the site pending venue affirmation. If they are outside at night lighting might be needed so that an isolated penguin might not be tripped over
