I am interested in exploring this sort of reverse alchemy that occurs in forgotten urban spaces whereby something that was precious (a building, a site of jobs and memories, a "useful" space) returns back to its natural state. I am not necessarily looking for that beauty in decay that is so trendy right now, but rather exploring the break down of our dominance over the landscape and perhaps predicting what a post-human aesthetic might look like.
