I was born and raised in California and have lived in Mexico, Iowa and Michigan. My wife, Gloria, and I have four adult children and seven grandchildren. Education has been the main focus of my career and I now serve as president of Kuyper College. Since I was a child I have enjoyed working with wood though it is only in the past 18 years that I have been designing and executing interpretive, spiritual themes in wood. In this period I have created nearly three dozen pieces that range in size from small mantle objects to a 19 foot high waterfall.
