Aztecca Woman is the third in a series where I painted over layers and layers of colors. (Acrylic on Canvas - 37" X 49" ). In some paintings I introduce hidden shapes for the viewer to discover, sometimes unintentional, it just happens. For me, the method of painting abstract or realistic remains the same. Transferring what I see onto a flat surface to create images and illusions remains a challenge and wonderful mystery.
