Threads of Grace
2012 ArtPrize EntryThreads of Grace Artists Notes: This sculpture Is a celebration, refection, and a challenge. Lives are wound together through a variety of threads; experiences, emotions, words/tweets, music, pictures, and relationships. Celebration happens as people and cultures are beautifully drawn closer together through these threads. Venue & Connection Information
This piece can be displayed either inside or outside. If it is out side it will need to be secured by either staking it in the ground or weighing it or tying it down (incase of high winds). If it is outside lighting may be needed. I am hoping I can wind threads of fibers attached to either end of the sculpture around other forms--trees or chairs--but this is not essential to the piece.
