Flowers! 4 by 3 by 1
This work is a collaboration of three friends each with her own vision of an original photograph. It began with a trip to Santa Fe and a photograph of a glorious container of flowers. After much debate, consternation and heavy thoughts, we each chose one or two media in which to explore the original photographic image. We then chose the final pieces based on the quality of each image and how well we liked the final composite image. Thus we have the photograph, an acrylic, a pastel, a watercolor and a computer-generated art image in the final piece. It is a work of love, images, friends and magic, because as we all know, art is magical.
