I am 76 years old and began my work as an artist when I was a partner in a major law firm and at a retreat, about 25 years ago, I was complimented about a drawing I was working on. I then began to do pencil drawings and morphed into acrylics. I have been working in this medium ever since doing abstract paintings some free style and others in a geometric model. On occasion I note my style changes depending upon whether I am painting what I feel or what I am thinking. I have donated a number of works to charitable organizations. They have been hung in their facilities or on occasion been part of a charitable auction. I am married to my wife Rosie of 53 years and we have four children and 12 grandchildren. Art has been a way of connecting with my grandchildren as they have been growing into adulthood. The first public showing of my work, in the late 90s, occurred at an art gallery in Pontiac Michigan. During the show, that ran for a month, a number of my early works were sold. The experience of displaying artwork for others to evaluate and judge was both a humbling and exhilarating experience.
