I started with a manaquin that I cut, and added to with artists canvas dipped in plaster of paris, then painted with construction adhesive to create a solid piece as my canvas...I then covered the entire piece with mosaic tile, in pale pink, pale yellow, and pale brown to represent the races...also used small red pieces to show the heart and veins on the torso...the head is covered in mirror tiles so the onlooker will see themselves in the piece..it also has a eyepatch that show Venus to be blind to prejudice....she is mounted on a granite base. She is beautiful.
