Making Rainbows

This piece was inspired by my 2-year old son playing with his "Crayola Color Wonder Bubbles" in the bathtub. When the bubbles popped on the walls they created beautiful designs. I have taken that idea and expanded it to create a piece I call "Making Rainbows". My artwork is made on a large board painted to look like the sky with a rainbow of bubbles popped all over it. Attached to this board in the lower corner is a silhouette painting, on canvas, of my son blowing bubbles. I'm hoping that when people see this piece they will remember the happiness they felt when they were little and loved making their own rainbows.
