Conversation With Myself
2011 ArtPrize EntryCast in recycled aluminum, the 12' "conversation with myself " invites interaction, reflection, interpretation, and conversation from the viewer. For me, the small figure in this large sculpure represents who we believe ourselves to be. The large figure represents who we really are, perhaps our higher self, perhaps our spirit. It is the aspect of who we are that is so much greater than we even know. I believe there is greatness in each person. In addition to creating reflection, conversation, and enjoyment, it is my greatest hope that people will stand next to the small figure and be reminded of their own potential, their own greatness.
