Elder Saint Elder saint represents the mature Christian. Mature Christians have experienced loss, physical and emotional trials and struggles in their life, yet they have kept their faith and grown with the Lord's help and grace. They still serve, praise and glorify God. The tree is a creation of God and like the mature Christian it has survived storms in it's life. It has had a major limb section ripped off, another limb is broken and it bears the dark streak where it was hit by lightning. Still, it continues to thrive represented by it's green leaves although a few are turning orange. Around the tree are three fence posts representing the Deity of the Godhead-God, Jesus-Christ and the Holy Spirit.
