LE&A has a long tradition of bringing art together with the public. The agency led the public relations and marketing outreach for the all-new Grand Rapids Art Museum, exhibitions at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park and it leads the What’s Your Art campaign on behalf of the Arts Council of Greater Grand Rapids. Members of the LE&A team have represented some of the leading public art projects in the Midwest, including the internationally renowned Millennium Park: Chicago and Tom Otterness in Grand Rapids. In 2006, LE&A hosted the first Kendall College Scholarship Commission, which gave scholarships to two students and placed their original pieces of artwork into the agency’s permanent collection. At its headquarters, one block away from Grand Rapids’ Avenue for the Arts District, LE&A hosted Salt & Earth by Young Kim, the 2009 ArtPrize Curators Choice award winner and 2010 top 10 finalist.

Lambert, Edwards & Associates has completed renovations and is now occupying 47 Commerce Ave. NW, at the corner of Commerce and Weston Aves. 47 Commerce hosted 2009 ArtPrize Curators Choice winner Young Kim. This historic, single-story Grand Rapids office building features a post-industrial floor plan with window space to host several artists along with a magnificent outdoor rooftop location and highly visible exterior wall space. The space includes expansive display windows, which flood the interior with daylight, and glow at night, for prime visual accessibility to passersby. This is a beautifully preserved, historic building with a central location in downtown Grand Rapids’ Heartside district, one block east of the popular Division Avenue for the Arts, and one block south of popular Fulton Avenue entertainment and dining establishments.
