After a 33-year career as a Design Editor and artist for Johnstown Magazine and The Tribune-Democrat, Kim Williams returned to her roots as a painter. Williams' collection exhibitions are usually comprised of over 100 individually-themed acrylic paintings on square, gallery-wrapped canvasses hung salon style. These pieces then fit together, as in a puzzle, to create a new image. Although there may be mixed-media pieces included, the typical subject matter of each piece is rooted in nature and realistic in style. Her work as been described as "honest and exuberant .. full of integrity, spirituality and joy." After the exhibitions, many of these collection pieces are sold and are currently held privately in the United States and Europe. Williams is represented by G Squared Gallery in Ligonier, PA.
