This painting is done with oil paint on canvas. The idea of this piece stems from my fascination with different emotional states. The face is disguised with white face paint, giving a dramatic effect. The piece elicits questions in the viewer, such as who is this person, why are they disguised. It also makes the viewer feel a little uneasy, uncomfortable, as though they are being watched by a masked stranger.
