Julie Schaefer, a great lakes native and creative hurricane. Her endeavors range from gallery exhibitor, award-winning plantscape designer, to cable television host and model. Julie studied ballet under Mrs. Pankotan of the New York City Ballet. The rhythm and stance of the figures in her paintings bear out this experience. She also studied martial arts, interior and horticulture design. She creates vibrant artwork that resonates with positive energy. Her catalog of elegant images is well suited for numerous applications in a variety of categories. She supported in the Bishop Foley's High School auction fund raiser, Wreath's Across America, Stiggy's Dogs, UAW local 412 and volunteers for the Grand Rapids "Festival of Arts", "Wreath's Across America" and "Selfridge Blue Angel's Airshow". Her current work is displayed across Southeastern Michigan with her paintings, fabric's, living plant and flower designs. Her style is "Nouveau, Cognizant and Colorific" - her description. She is inspired by the intricacy of the universe and the higher power. Artists Statement: “I create art work that reflects my passion for the beauty in life that grows forever”.
