I did not find my passion early in life. I spent many years working as a biochemist and doing research in a university setting. It wasn’t until I inherited a camera, along with the request to “learn how to use it” that I began this journey. I attended workshops and spent a significant amount of time in the company of very talented photographers, absorbing all the knowledge, expertise, and inspiration I could. As a researcher, I learned to see beyond the obvious and think creatively. I use these skills every time I pick up my camera. I enjoy making images of a wide variety of subjects including landscapes, vintage objects and buildings, people, and animals. I have been composing scenes in my head forever, and photography allows me to record these scenes for others to enjoy. My goal is to offer visual vacations; Images that capture the viewer’s imagination.
