50 States Design Project
2012 ArtPrize EntryThe 50 States Design Project began in 2011 with the goal of creating 50 state posters in less than 50 weeks. It seeks to depict the unique personality of each state in the form of a graphic poster, along with an accompanying headline and caption. This ambitious project has garnered increasing attention at its online gallery, as well as requests from around the country to purchase prints. The project’s founder, Joshua Best said, “The motivation is to combine two nerdy passions: Geography and Design.” The work can be found online at 50statesdesignproject.com
