It was my privilege to study painting, drawing, design and Art History under artists like John Rawlings and Rusty Warner, at FVCC, in Kalispell, Montana, and Lonnie Collinsworth in High School. In 2007 I transferred to "S.A.C.I." in Florence, Italy. For three years I worked with King's Castle ministries in El Salvador, volunteering with impoverished kids in the slums and coffee plantation towns. I taught an art class for kids in the mountains above Lago de Coatapeque. It was in El Salvador where I painted my first large scale paintings for drama productions. I fell in love with a Salvadoreña (a fellow ministry worker), we were married in 2010 and now have two amazing children. We have been children's pastors in Montana since 2014, and Art is a big part of our children's ministry. I tend to draw my inspiration from God's creation, the beauty of Montana, biblical truths, and the painting masters of the past, on whose shoulders we stand.
