Holding Power (Presidial.org - Campaign 2012)
2012 ArtPrize EntryPresidial.org is an ongoing project which documents found daily photographs in chronological order starting in February 2006 with George Bush by placing them in a movie at 15 frames per second. During the 2008 Campaign, McCain and Obama images were also collected. This process has continued with the 2012 Campaign with Obama and the presumptive nominee Mitt Romney. Each 8x10" framed lenticular contains all the found images for a given month cropped resized and centered to create a single flicker image with holographic presence.

Venue & Connection Information
For the past few two yearsI have participated in ArtPrize with one individual work made with my unique 6 layer duct-tape process, this year I would like to showcase my other skills as an artist as well. Since it is an election year, I propose to install for the first time my ongoing project "Presidial" with a large scale 5x9' or 4x7" duct-tape work of Washington DC (same scale as my work in previous years) or both if you would permit me. Also the presidial project has many other related projects that are interactive or just video as you can see above. I would also like to install the video if possible and I have the project "Electoral Collegiate Boxing" a punching bag controlled version of the "Purple America" data visualization that needs to be reworked for the 2012 election cycle. Basically, I want to treat my entry this year as I would treat a solo show of my work. I am not a single medium artist and I hope you will let me showcase all my skills in your venue. Thanks
