'Glitter Girl' is, I believe, the world's first photographic sequin mosaic. It is comprised of 50,625 independently-mounted sequins, which move and sparkle when they catch the light. When seen from a distance, the sequins act as "pixels" and form a photographic image. My goal in creating this piece was to invent a new display method that had not been seen before; something that would literally bring an image "to life."
