Hello my name is Jennifer Kaiser to many people I am also known as “Sosay”. I grew up in Southwest Michigan studied in Rome, Italy with Loyola University of Chicago and graduated from Michigan State University. I also graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, Mundelein College with a degree in Studio Art. While pursuing Studio Art in Chicago, I started expanding my Performing Arts portfolio, which at this time consisted of dance i.e. ballet, modern, jazz, choir, acting and modeling. Thinking outside the box, I began pursuing an unconventional art form. I began training at a Professional Wrestling school which ultimately led to an active career in the entertainment business, where I played an important character role in Ohio Valley Wrestling, based in Louisville Kentucky which during this time was WWE’s developmental territory. Aside from the ring work, the original fine art mission was heading in the direction of visually depicting an interpretation of the teachings of Theology of the body, through narrative figurative art, working mainly with Charcoal as the medium. I worked hard and diligently developing an individual style during my studies at Loyola. Each year I compete in a prestigious art contest called, "Art at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Contest" which is held in Columbus, Ohio. Currently 18 of my works of art are on display at the Transformations Spirituality Center in Nazareth, Michigan. My charcoal human figure works have been archived by the Art department at Loyola University of Chicago, and used for model demonstration pieces shown to current college level Art students enrolled in the Studio Art program. I work with a wide range of media, including, but not limited to pencil, charcoal, oil, pastels, water color, pen and Ink, mixed media, interactive media and digital media. For me, I see Art as "Less is More", trying not to over complicate the piece. I believe successful art has the ability to communicate a universal feeling or mood to any audience which allows them to feel a connection and involved with the work.
