Pieces to Peace
The inspiration for this collection of photographs comes from finding peace that only comes from God. Two of the photos were shot underwater, and the other two were taken in the pouring rain at a home in Grand Rapids. I am comparing the sense of peace and serenity found in the underwater photos with the lack of it in the pouring rain, the storms of life. The photos are printed on waterproof, aluminum squares. The ink is infused into the aluminum, not just coated on top, so as to be longer lasting, durable, and waterproof.
