Jeffrey Augustine Songco (b. 1983) is a multi-media artist. He was born, baptized, and raised in New Jersey, USA to Filipino parents. He is classically trained in ballet and voice, but genetically, he is an architect. He holds a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and an MFA from San Francisco Art Institute. Earlier this year, Jeffrey presented his first solo exhibition titled "Public Displays of Affection" at Steven Wolf Fine Arts in San Francisco. He was a nominee for the 2012 SECA Art Award, and a finalist for the 2011 Asian Contemporary Arts Consortium Writing Fellowship, the 2011 Artists Wanted: Power of Self competition, and the 2007 Cut&Paste Digital Design Tournament. In 2009, he was the winner of the Society for Geek Advancement's Global Geek Week YouTube Video competition. Jeffrey is a contributing writer to Art21 Blog, Hyperallergic, and The Huffington Post. He would like to be the US representative to the 2023 Venice Biennale.
